HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN PARTY IN A BOX!

Inspired by the same effects incorporated by the engineers who designed the Walt Disney Haunted Mansion in 1969. 

My Pumpkin Party in a Box employs 2 different effects:

1)     Projector mapping…The singing pumpkins are created using a mini projector, reflected off a mirror, and using a homemade diopter for focus.  The pumpkin faces were mapped to the physical objects using Adobe After Effects.

2)    Pepper’s ghost…To achieve this hologram 3D effect and make it transparent, a small portable monitor is used.  The image is reflected off a piece of acrylic at a 45-degree angle.  The video loops off a programmed Raspberry PI, purposely masked off to look like the ghosts “pass through” the pumpkins.
