CASA of Denton County's trained and supported community volunteers build a strong, consistent relationship with each child and their family, promote community resources, and make informed recommendations to the court.

CASA of Denton County's vision is simple yet powerful: every child deserves a safe, permanent, and loving home. With the dedication of community advocates, CASA of Denton County works to ensure that children navigating the child welfare system are not just another case number—they are seen, heard, and valued.

  • Our Mission

Blue Moon Artistry wants to come together with local artists and businesses to create and celebrate art while raising money for and awareness of a local non-profit that helps those in need in our local community.

  • Our Inspiration

In 2024, Denton declared itself the Halloween destination of Texas. Since pumpkins and Jack-o-lanterns are a staple this time of year, Blue Moon Artistry thought using ceramic pumpkins would keep the Halloween spirit alive because who doesn't love Halloween, right?

On October 24, 2024, at Bramblitt's Yellow Dog Art Bar & Gallery in Denton, Texas, Blue Moon Artistry hosted an art contest with over 30 talented local artists who each submitted a creatively decorated pumpkin. At the 1st annual The Charitable Pumpkin event, there was a raffle with prizes generously donated by local businesses and individuals and a silent auction of the decorated pumpkins.

Thanks to the incredible community support and Blue Moon Artistry matching all proceeds from both the raffle and the auction, the event was a success!

$6,025.00 was raised for CASA of Denton County.

  • Our Vision

Blue Moon Artistry is excited to make this event an annual tradition- one that grows bigger and better each year!

With the continued support of our community, The Charitable Pumpkin will become a popular event - a celebration of art and giving that everyone looks forward to every October.
