Halloween was always a special time of mischief - but, most importantly... candy you received for your efforts putting together a costume. Homemade and hand-stitched costumes decorated my childhood. For my very 1st Halloween, I was a witch - a classic witch - long straw hair and a black tulle hat.
I wanted to evoke the wicked witch archetype, homemade costumes, and candy all together for a classic Fall image. A favorite seasonal treat of mine is also the caramel apples, which felt appropriate for a candy witch to be. Green granny smith apples are perfect for caramelling, too!
Overall, I wanted to have fun and embody the wicked spirited fun of Halloween into one pumpkin!
